WIL had initial collaboration with Maag Gear AG, Switzerland, and subsequently have fully absorbed capability to design, manufacture and provide after sales service in the field of Precession Heavy Duty High Speed Gearboxes for industrial and Marine applications.

We have a fully equipped, manufacturing infrastructure comprising of
Gear cutting, Gear grinding, Case hardening and Quality assurance facilities.

The product range includes Gear and Gear boxes for Marine Propulsion System, API 613 Gear Boxes for Turbo Alternator, Centrifugal Compressors, Planetary Gear Boxes, Industrial Gear Boxes, Precision heavy duty low noise Gear Boxes for special applications, Gear Boxes for Mini and Micro Hydel Power Projects,
Gear Boxes for Tube Rolling Mills.

We have been closely associated with design, manufacture and supply of
Gear Boxes for various programmes of Indian Navy including supply of large number of Gear Boxes to Leander class Frigates, Survey Vessels, Aircraft Carrier,
Corvette class Vessels, Fleet Tankers etc. with horse power up to 24000 HP and
17.2 MWe Gear Box for Turbo Alternator.
